Ex-chola turned L.A.P.D. Homicide Detective Maggie Munoz (Nenna Quiroz) is forced to reunite with her cop hating, first love, ex-cholo turned barrio private eye, Caco Valdez (Ruben Garfias) after a string of barrio slayings go unsolved. And the very department she works for refuses to investigate.

But Maggie's cholo hating partner and secret lover, Ricky Vellos (Robert Arevalo) only makes matters worse as his jealousy and hatred for Caco builds when he feels Maggie giving in to Caco's influence and to that of the old nieghboorhood she left behind.

Caught in a love triangle, Maggie is furthered swayed as Caco accuses Ricky of planting a knife on an innocent cholo... and blood found on the knife matches the blood from one of the killings.
